For the 100th anniversary of the state
bavaria the city decided to screen a
video in subway train stations. This
animation was made for a competition.
The task was to celebrate bavaria and
this commemoration only using type.
People and the city are developing.
It is a typographical time travel and a
view into the future! We quoted every
monumental timespan using the
corresponding font.

times using only bavarian and german
types.
The animation is created using
the stop motion technique.
61 different constellations were
created. This project was completed
with one partner.
The futuristic end frame type is made
by a typographer from munich
(Jakob Runge).
